Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what personal data Future Site di Haidar Anbar collects through italearn.org, the website of ItaLearn, and when we contact schools and teachers, why, and what your rights are. It follows art. 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The learning app at app.italearn.org has its own privacy notice for learner and school accounts.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Future Site di Haidar Anbar (owner: Haidar Anbar), Via Vito Volterra 3/A, Ancona (AN), Italy, P.IVA IT03011260423. ItaLearn is a service of Future Site di Haidar Anbar. For privacy and legal requests write to contact@futuresite.it; for the ItaLearn service, to contact@italearn.org.

2. Data we collect

When you book a demo we collect your name, work email, optional phone number, role, school or organisation, country, optional city, school size, interests, preferred days and time, your optional message and the time you accepted this policy. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, message and the time you accepted this policy. For both forms we keep a one-way keyed hash of your IP address, never the address itself, to stop abuse. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical server logs (such as IP address, date and requested page). We use no analytics and no tracking.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use demo request data to contact you, organise the demo and, if you wish, set up a trial for your school, as steps you asked for before a possible contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR). We use contact form data only to answer your message, on the same basis or on our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (art. 6.1.f). Server logs are used to keep the website secure and working, based on our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f). We do not send newsletters or bulk marketing emails (for the messages we write to schools and teachers, see Schools and teachers we contact). Fields marked as optional can be left empty; without the other fields we cannot answer you or organise the demo. Nobody is obliged to give us data, and we make no automated decisions or profiling (art. 22 GDPR).

4. Schools and teachers we contact

To present ItaLearn we sometimes write first to schools, universities, language centres and teachers. We use contact details published for work purposes: institutional email addresses and phone numbers from the open data of the Italian Ministry of Education and from the websites of schools and organisations, public professional profiles such as LinkedIn, or details given to us by a colleague who introduced you. We keep your name, role, organisation, work contact details, where we found them and notes of our exchanges. We write one message at a time, to propose a demo or a free trial or to ask for feedback, on our legitimate interest in presenting ItaLearn to education professionals (art. 6.1.f GDPR). We do not add you to newsletters and do not share these details with anyone. If you do not reply or are not interested, we delete them 12 months after our last contact. You can object at any time: reply "no" to our message or write to contact@futuresite.it, and we stop at once, keeping only your email address on a do-not-contact list so that we never write to you again.

5. How long we keep data

Demo requests are deleted automatically 24 months after their last update, so we can follow up with schools during a typical school year. Contact messages are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short, limited period. Data needed for a contract that follows your request is kept as long as the law requires.

6. Who receives the data

Your data is not sold or shared for marketing. It is processed on our behalf by Hostinger, which hosts the website (in the EU) and the contact@italearn.org mailbox, and by Aruba, which hosts the contact@futuresite.it mailbox, both acting as data processors under art. 28 GDPR. Messages we exchange on LinkedIn are also processed by LinkedIn under its own privacy policy. It may be disclosed to authorities when the law requires it.

7. Transfers outside the EU

We choose providers that store data in the European Union. If a provider ever transfers data outside the EU, it must do so under the safeguards of the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (art. 15–22 GDPR). Write to contact@futuresite.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

9. Cookies

We use only technical cookies, which do not need consent. See the cookie policy.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date.

11. Contact

For any question about your data, write to contact@futuresite.it or use the contact page.
